The modern State of Israel had her 60th birthday this year. But the obstacles that she is faced with have not diminished only increased. To our dismay the present Israeli government is not representing the Jewish people in Israel nor in Diaspora around the world. The government led by Kadima party has brought grave danger to the Jewish State. The withdrawal from Gaza, failure during Second Lebanese War both militarily and diplomatically, ongoing rocket attacks from Gaza on the civilian town and cities of Israel. The terrorist organization in the Lebanon are rearmed and stronger than before 2006 Second Lebanese War, Iran has almost completed the process of obtaining the nuclear weapons, Kadima is negotiating the surrender of Golan Heights and above all the Capital of Jewish State Jerusalem. How the strongest country in the Middle East has come to such a chaos? It has been voiced by experts that Israel is faced with the greatest obstacle in its modern history. You might rightfully ask how it can be when Israel is so militarily strong no one in the Middle East can challenge it. The answer is the Second Lebanese War, qassam rockets in the south, bulldozer attacks in Jerusalem, and so forth. And yet there has been no sound reaction from the Israeli government. What will it take for Israel to wake up and defend herself or will Israel disappear from the map as the only Jewish State?

The world is all about Politics, the world have been ploted before our birth. Don't worry, israel will start fighting for her people, the world have been ploted.
I think, now nor US, nor G8, nor EU going to stop Iran. They deside, I think, resently to use nuclear Iran like catalisator for nuclear proliferation in the ME. Becouse of this Israel must immediatelly stop any apeasement of Arabs outside and inside the Israel and use any legal means to push Arabs out of the country. Immediatelly Israel must begin maiking deals with neigbors which inqlude transfer unpopulated territories to Israel. US, EU do not care anymore about terrorists acts and even nuclear attack

No body seems to care about Isreal anymore. I thought that our enmy is right outside of our border, but not leading our govnment. Shame on you Kadima leaders you brought the discrace to the jewish people.

Why don't the Israeli Jewish Citizen don't protest like Americans did during the Vietnam War?
War what is it good for, absolutely nothing.Would it not have been better to embraced the differences right from the beignniing and embraced the Arab nieghbours with love, and built a strong society.What has been created now, nothing but another haulocuast on top of the first one.And now Iarael has created three to four generations of angry Palestinians.All it can think of is more war, and starving the people of Gaza into some kind of submission.Is israel really prepared to have an Auschwitz on thier door step?????? What the Israeli governemnt does ont seem to realise is htat these days they cannot hide thier actions that cirme that are commitedin the name of hte security of Israel can be beamed instantly around the world.War is a coawrds way of achieving peace.Isnt it about time Israel takes a step back from the brink and admits that things have been done wrong, that the way forward is to seeek real peace with its indigenous population,to give compensation for losses, give the Palestinians right of return equally.Israel needs to practice true democracy not the sham that is does now.I was once very proud of my Jewish ancestry, but I thank G-d that my parents never made aliyah to Israel in the 60's as my father wished, because now I would be a member of what I consider a pariah state.
The last time I checked Modern Jewish founders embraced the differences and accepted its Arab neighbors. Jewish people even agreed to the peel partition plan. But Arabs said no and began war right after the Independce of the Jewish State of Israel. They even asked Arab indigenous population to leave so when the invading army conquered the Jewish State only Jews would die. After all Jewish people are the indigenous people of that land have you forgot that? What did Arabs ever gave Jewish State for land consetions or goodwill? We got nothing in return! (Name me at least one thing)What I think? I think you got fed with distorted information about your own homeland Israel was, is, and always will be the home for the Jewish People. As for the Arabs they know nothing about love and peace, they kill their own people do you really think they want peace with the Jewish State?
People, why is it so hard to understand that not everyone is good inside? Evil is real and will provail if you let it. If someone pointed a gun at your head and said that they were going to kill you and your family, which metaphorically Israel's neighbors are doing, are you saying that getting down on your hands and knees to be executed is the right thing to do? Where on earth did this absolute submissive idealogy come from? The Arabs want Israel dead... killed, eliminated, terminated, non-existent! I just don't get it. Peace can only be accomplished by two ways... The anti-jewish cultures completely change their hearts, idealogy, angst, evilness or two - they are deterred by show of power and might via military and unification of it's peoples.
If Israel sits by while its neighbors plan and act on its destruction, then yes, Israel doesn't deserve to be Israel. Pack your bags and hop on the boat to America or elsewhere.
Yeah I agree fully. In fact don't come to America. We have enough losers over here already and we just elected one as the new president.
I still have faith that Israel will do the right thing BEFORE Monkey Man in Iran gets his nuke banana. One can only hope that Israel comes together with a unified plan before it's too late.
Israel must remember their strength is in The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.(don't trust your military might and American support alone) Trust in Him and act. Those Americans have long since forgotten the true God and are waiting for His wrath and judgement for all the sin and backsliding. Don't follow their way to doom. Ultimately The Lord will protect His chosen. You and I know that. Israelis, Fight for your country man. My prayers with you. God of Jacob is with you! GO AHEAD!!
Destroy Israel? IMPOSSIBLE!! Don't forget that The GOD OF ISRAEL neither slumbers or sleeps. You're doomed if you plot against Israel! There's someone above all. Mind it Hamas, Hizbollah, and whoever else..including Iran. God bless Israel.
Obed, so far we had conversation from purely secular point of view (No religion), but I am glad that someone has brought G'd up into our discussions. Religion (Judaism) is single most important column that holds Jewish people around the world (Morrocan, Russian, Brazilian, American, etc...) together. Without G'd we will be lost. But there one thing that we have to remember that we have to act while at the same time believe in G'd. Among these things that we should do is pray, do mitzvas, and of course hit Iran and other nations that threaten our very existance. Self defense is our religious and natural right. May God Bless Israel and those that protect it!

It is hard for a lot of people to understand that, the sad part a lot of those people that have difficulties are either very educated or completely lack education. My college professors are anti-Israel, Pro-Arab. My American Jewish friends are brainwashed to the bones of their brains that Israel is wrong, they are baby killers, they are occupiers of Palestinian Land, and so on. I hate to hear it from the Jewish people. But that is what it is and I hope that this blog will help those that are lost or have been exposed to the distorted information will read, do their own research, question things, and finally understand that Israel is our land, it is under the occupation of the Arabs (look at the original Balfour Declaration) everything west of the Jordan river will belong to the Jewish inhabitants. If you don't agree with what is being written here please debate your own side of it but I am afraid that you would have no solid position because there is none.
Good to see a religious point of view too. I am struggling with the downfall of morals and ethics in America as they deteriate before my own eyes in such a rapid timeframe. Soon, changes in government policy will be even more bold and most brainwashed Americans will follow like the sheeple they have become. God will protect Israel as he promises but that doesn't mean that life will be free from doom and peril in many ways. People must suffer, endure many pains, and possibly die in the process. America has been a very strong rightous and religious country but now because of sin and corruption it is swimming in controversy. I wonder how long God will help America as it has turned against him in many ways.... Taking God out of schools, government, and in public. I support Israel and will pray for you as a Christian believer and friend. God Bless You!
